1. Read the reset factory defaults configuration bar code.
CV30 Factory Reset
The blue light on the CV30 blinks once and the CV30 starts the booting sequence.
2. Reload any custom applications that may have been erased during the clean boot and reset the time and date.
CV41 Soft Reset - Warm Boot
1. Tap Start > Settings > Control Panel > Registry.
2. Tap the Warmboot button.
CV41 Hard Reset - Cold Boot
1. Tap Start > Settings > Control Panel > Registry.
2. Tap the Coldboot button.
CV41 Factory Reset
1. Tap Start > Settings > Control Panel > Registry.
2. Tap the Load Factory Defaults button.
CV60 Soft Reset - Warm Boot
1. Press the power ON/OFF switch to shut off the CV60.
2. Press the switch again to reset the CV60 PC back on.
CV60 Hard Reset - Cold Boot
1. Press <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <Del> simultaneously on the keyboard to force the system to boot.
2. Reload the desired software application, if Necessary.
4420 / 4440 Factory Reset
1. The following table lists the factory default settings for the 4420 and 4440 printer.
Use PrintSet to set these parameters.
6820 Hard Reset - Cold Boot
1. Press Reset button to cold-boot the printer.
PM4i Factory Reset
There are two ways to reset the printer:
- Insert a special CompactFlash memory card and restart the Printer.
- Use the printer’s keypad to reset the printer:
1) Turn off the printer.
2) Open the right cover and lift the printhead.
3) Turn on the printer and press and hold the < i > button until the printer beeps.
4) Quickly press the following keys in sequence:
The following message appears:
Factory Default?
Enter=Yes ESC=No
5) Within 10 seconds, press Enter button to reset the printer to its factory default settings.
The parameters are reset and the printer continues the normal startup process.
If you do not presss Enter button within 10 seconds, the normal startup continues and the printer is not reset.
