Pidion BIP-1300 Soft Reset - Warm Boot
1. Press the Reset button on the right side of the PDA with the stylus pen.
Pidion BIP-1300 Hard Reset - Cold Boot
Windows Mobile 5.0:
1. Press and hold F + 4 + Reset buttons.
Windows CE:
1. Press and hold F + 6 + Reset buttons.
Windows Mobile 5.0 + QWERTY Keypad:
1. Press and hold Fn + 4 + Reset buttons.
Pidion BIP-1300 Factory Reset
1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Factory Data Reset, confirm that
you want to erase all data on the device, then press the Reset button on screen.
2. The device will reboot, you will see a progress bar,
then the device will reboot again and start Android normally.
If Android is unable to start normally and you can't access the Factory data reset option in settings,
you can also perform a factory data reset from Recovery mode:
1. Shut down, reboot, or reset the device from the power menu
or by pressing the Reset button on the back or side of the device.
2. While SDGBoot is loading, press End Call button 3 times to enter Recovery mode,
then press Home button when you see the Android icon.
3. Choose "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" from the menu, confirm the selection,
then press the Power button to reboot when the wipe is complete.
After the device reboots Android should prompt you to calibrate the screen.
If you do not see the calibration screen try a factory data reset again.
Pidion BIP-5000 Soft Reset - Warm Boot
1. Press Reset button on back of device with stylus.
Pidion BIP-5000 Hard Reset - Cold Boot
BIP-5000 (Pre 2009):
1. 5 (Sometimes 7) + Send + Reset buttons, press and hold keys down for at least 15 seconds.
BIP-5000 (Post 2009):
1. Send + Reset buttons, hold keys down for at least 15 seconds.
BIP-5000-Black (From 2010):
1. Send + Reset buttons, hold keys down for at least 15 seconds.
Pidion BIP-5000 Factory Reset
1. Go to Settings > Privacy > Factory Data Reset, confirm that
you want to erase all data on the device, then press the Reset button on screen.
2. The device will reboot, you will see a progress bar,
then the device will reboot again and start Android normally.
If Android is unable to start normally and you can't access the Factory data reset option in settings,
you can also perform a factory data reset from Recovery mode:
1. Shut down, reboot, or reset the device from the power menu
or by pressing the Reset button on the back or side of the device.
2. While SDGBoot is loading, press End Call button 3 times to enter Recovery mode,
then press Home button when you see the Android icon.
3. Choose "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" from the menu, confirm the selection,
then press the Power button to reboot when the wipe is complete.
After the device reboots Android should prompt you to calibrate the screen.
If you do not see the calibration screen try a factory data reset again.
