3. When the white boot screen appears and the LED blinks, type the following keys in sequence:
"1", "2", "7", "7". This will be displayed in a small box in the center of the screen.
4. The device will show a menu with 2 options. When the menu appears,
press the ENT(Enter) key to select the Factory Reset option.
5. Select the ENT (Enter) key on the question to proceed. At this moment,
the device will start the "Factory Mode" process.

Dolphin 70e Black Factory Reset
To Factory Default the 70E terminal running Windows Embedded Handheld:
1. Perform a Hard reset. Press and hold the Power button on the top of the device
until the display gives power down options. Tap Hard Reset.
2. While the Dolphin is booting, press and hold the left and right scan keys
until the Honeywell splash screen comes up with the Factory Reset box.
Note: Factory reset box is only visible for 3 seconds.
3. Once the white Honeywell splash screen appears and the Factory Reset box is in the center of the screen,
press the Green Phone key, then the Red Disconnect key, then the Home key.
4. As a last confirmation, press the front SCAN button, and the Factory Reset will be initiated.
To Factory Default the 70E terminal running Android:
1. Perform a Reboot. Press and hold the Power button on the top of the device
until the display gives power down options. Tap Reboot.
2. While the Dolphin is booting, press and hold the left and right scan keys until
the Honeywell splash screen comes up with a “Ready for hotkey” message at the bottom of the screen.
3. Once the white Honeywell splash screen appears and the “Ready for hotkey”
message is in the bottom left corner of the screen, press the Search key
and then the Volume Down button, and this will start the factory reset process.
Note: These keys are pressed in sequence as they constitute the password to perform the Factory reset.
Dolphin 7850 / 7900 Soft Reset - Warm Boot
1. Press and hold the Red button and ESC button or approximately 5 seconds.
2. The decode and scan LEDs flash for approximately three seconds as the terminal resets.

“All installed applications & customized settings will be deleted. Do you want to proceed?”
4. Press Y for yes, proceed with the Factory Reset. If you change your mind and do not want to proceed,
press N for no and the terminal will launch the current image instead of a factory reset.

1. On the 56-key keyboard, press and hold the CTRL + SFT keys for approximately 5 seconds.
On the 43-key keyboard, press and hold the CTRL + NUM keys for approximately 5 seconds.
